Jeri Brodie founded XO Retail Advisors Inc. in April 2010, after a comprehensive career in real estate including serving at an executive level for some of Canada’s foremost landlords and third party service providers, successfully directing office, industrial and retail leasing, property management, acquisition/disposition and asset management divisions.
Her breadth of experience extended to the tenant side as Vice President, Real Estate for a telecommunications/IT company providing bundled services to office buildings across Toronto, New York, Chicago and Dallas. Jeri was responsible for business development and negotiating leases and license agreements with some of North America’s largest landlords and property management companies.
For the past eight years, Jeri has worked exclusively on the agency side, where she is able to fully-utilize her 25 years of experience assisting with real estate strategies, analyzing research and demographics, providing expert recommendations and negotiating complex legal documents, on behalf of an exclusive roster of prominent retailers.
Jeri is Broker of Record and a member of OREA and ICSC. She has been a featured speaker at ICSC, RealLeasing and BOMA conferences. She served as Vice President and Treasurer for BOMA Toronto (Building Owners and Management Association) from 1997-2002 and is an alumna of University of Alberta, where she majored in Economics.
GLENDA JONES

Glenda Jones is the Office Manager of XO Retail Advisors Inc. Glenda is responsible for all aspects of Office Administration, and plays an integral role in the organization of the office and all its employees. With over six years experience in the Real Estate industry, Glenda has a strong background in commercial property leasing, as well as experience in lease administration, transaction management and property marketing. Glenda graduated from McMaster University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and holds her real estate salesperson license through the Real Estate Council of Ontario.
KAREN SZULC

Karen Szulc (say “Schultz”) joined XO Retail Advisors in October 2011, bringing with her eight years of experience as Real Estate Manager of Starbucks Coffee Company. Responsible for Starbucks’ penetration into the Eastern Canadian market, Karen successfully directed this high-growth company into the expansion of new markets, analyzing potential sites and securing leases in Montreal, the Greater Toronto Area, and upstate New York.
Karen’s experience also extends to the landlord side, having assisted a major Canadian landlord with valuations and property management issues for office buildings, retail plazas, and shopping malls across Canada.
In joining the agency side, Karen is able to fully utilize her 15 years of experience shaping real estate strategies, editing and negotiating legal documents, and providing expert recommendations.
Karen also brings her enthusiasm and energy to the ice and the field, where she plays competitive hockey and soccer. She is a member of OREA and ICSC and an alumna of Ryerson University, where she majored in marketing and finance.
ASHLEY SOLOMON

Ashley entered the real estate world working for the listing broker of an exciting condominium project in Toronto’s Distillery District, immediately after obtaining her Psychology degree from York University. She continued her education by completing her Real Estate Salesperson’s Registration in 2005.
As an Account Manager with XO Retail Advisors Inc., Ashley specializes in tenant representation and has successfully executed lease transactions for many national and international retailers. She has been involved in numerous types of real estate transactions ranging from urban street front locations to power centers and enclosed malls.
Ashley has competed at national and international levels in jazz, tap and ballet and has developed a keen appreciation for art. Her diverse talents and education give her a unique perspective into the retail industry.
In addition to being a member of OREA and ICSC, Ashley volunteers her time and expertise to help organize industry events for ICSC Next Generation.
LORIE WRIGHT

Lorie Wright has over 25 years experience in the retail leasing industry and has extensive knowledge of both tenant and landlord positions through her comprehensive background working with several of the country’s most prominent landlords and national third-party service providers and retailers.
As an Account Manager with XO Retail Advisors, Lorie currently represents and assists tenants with all their retail real estate needs from finding the best sites to finalizing the most favourable terms for offers, renewals, assignments, subleases and/or dispositions. Through the use of her strong communication abilities and her excellent negotiation skills, Lorie is able to produce exceptional results for all of her clients, saving them time, stress, and money.
She is a member of OREA and ICSC, and has co-chaired the Food Court committee at the ICSC Canadian convention for the past two years.
Lorie’s interests include horse jumping, car racing and sailing.
